Hello!

Welcome to my blog, my name is Jackie and I am a K-4 Special Education teacher in a small town in Wisconsin.  I am about to begin my 3rd year of teaching and am more excited then ever.  I teach mostly students with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disabilities both in my special education classroom and in the general education classroom.  I love being a special education teacher and I look forward to the challenges and accomplishments and the ups and downs each day brings.

I decided to start this blog to share my ideas and stories from my classroom along with my mistakes.  It is also a way for me to reflect on my teaching successes and failures (part of my Professional Development Plan or PDP), so please sit back and enjoy the journey!
